This is my unofficial report: Books & Supplies $1,160.00 Personal Expenses $1,922.00 Room & Board $5,462.00 TUITION & FEES $3,450.00 Transportation $2,320.00 Total: $14,314.00 __________________________ Eliminate room and board. It would be MAYBE $600. Transportation: $120 a month, by bus. $3 there, $3 back, 5 days a week. Absurd, but I don't drive. It's less then a car payment, gas and insurance, though. Personal expenses- I'm an easy keeper. I spend maybe $50 a month in hygiene. I should record what I buy, how much I use and how much it costs. My question is the tuition and whether that will cover the fall/spring semester. It's an A.A.S in general studies, at a community college. It shouldn't be a whole lot. I can't find this anywhere on the website, and it's Saturday. Can someone give me some perspective? Also, I don't think the cost for tuition may be right. Relevent, der. I've been awarded $5,350.00

can't you buy a monthly bus pass? that would save you tremendously.

No, the regular routes don't go by the west campus so I have to use On Call which is expensive. Even the fares are absurd. Just a normal trip is 1.50

How many minutes/miles is your place from campus? Is there any chance you could get a bike and only use the bus when it's bad out? Or you could even get lucky and find someone to carpool with. That would be even better. :) I'm a bit confused by what you're asking btw... but I might have an idea. Usually they tell you upfront if that's the cost per semester/quarter or yearly. It sounds like it's yearly though, if it's community college.
