-- Posted by silliness at 7:41 pm on June 11, 2009 People say there are overprotective parents. Mine are beyond overprotective. Besides that, we don't get along at all. We fight about EVERYTHING, and it's only gotten worse. They are forcing me to go to UF, but even when college starts in the fall, I know they won't loosen the reins. Its only thirty minutes away, and they want me to be close to home so they can hover over me and crap. The thing is, I want to leave my house so bad. It's just horrible. We cant even be in the same room without fighting. but if I move out, they won't fund me going to UF, so I would be messing up my education too. The thing is, I can apply to UWF, where I'd be going for free because of scholarships and stuff. I don't know if moving out would be worth it though. Don't raise voices and try to remain calm. If that doesn't work... I would say find a way to GET OUT. Get a loan if you have to! My relationship with my parents got ten times better after I moved out - because Mom missed me and Dad didn't care anymore.
