Some of you might remember me posting an australian nature calendar a few years back. Well. I'm no longer a poor school student, so I've redesigned it for 2010, and I'm going to get it printed. This is the finished product:

Front cover:

Inside:

Back cover:

You can view the PDF of my calendar here (7.6mb). Ignore the image quality - I had to compress it a lot.

It's going to print within a week or two. I'm just getting feedback at the moment for any last minute changes. I'm going to give away copies top friends and family for free. I am willing to post some free copies to interested LiveWire members, as long as you cover the postage. I have paypal, which I may give out via PM. I am paying for these calendars to be printed out of my own pocket, so any extra money is appreciated, but not necessary.

Me too.  I'll actually probably pay for a couple (once I clear it with the wife).  I think my parents would enjoy one of those.

Assuming the calendars will be 250g or under when printed, postage to the UK will be:
  • AU$6.65 via Sea mail (slowest method - Australia Post doesn't specify how long it will take but it'd be over a week I reckon)
  • AU$10.70 via Air mail (4-5 working days)
  • AU$23.15 for registered international (4-5 working days)
  • A whopping AU$67.85 for Express post international (4 working days)

    These prices go up to:

  • AU$10.55 for Sea mail
  • AU$18.15 for Air mail
  • still AU$23.15 for registered international
  • still AU$67.85 for Express post international
for 250g-500g parcels, in case the calendars weigh more than 250g each.

    For you Americans, postage is:

  • AU$6.65 for Sea mail (again, I reckon around a week)
  • AU$9.05 for Air mail (4-6 working days)
  • AU$19.85 for registered international (4-6 working days)
  • AU$54.65 for Express post international (3-6 working days)
for up to 250g parcel, and

  • AU$10.55 for Sea mail
  • AU$14.85  for Air mail
  • still AU$19.85 for registered international
  • still AU$54.65 for Express post international
    for a 250g-500g parcel.

and how much is the calender itself? :)

-- Posted by Hi Carie at 6:36 am on June 16, 2009

not bad. 1 aussie dollar is like .80 dollar here.

so like...5.32 in shipping how much do you think it will go up if you ship 2 together?

also, how much are you charging for the calendars themselves. you have to charge something brooke!

-- Posted by carelesmind at 6:38 am on June 16, 2009

its really good, cant wait to see it in stores

    AU$15 full price.

If I ship two together, it'll probably just fall into the 250g-500g parcel category. But just in case:

    500g-750g parcels to America are:

  • AU$14.45 sea
  • AU$20.65 air
  • AU$25.65 registered
  • AU$54.65 express

Hah. I honestly doubt it will be in stores. Other calendar companies have too much of a monopoly. Trust me, I've looked into it :)

-- Posted by Spice at 6:48 am on June 16, 2009

you think it would be ok to order a couple around september time if I request then? I might do a few for some christmas presents :) easier to do all at once.

-- Posted by Prince o palities at 6:50 am on June 16, 2009

I obviously don't know if this applies there, but here bookstores often have special sections for books and calenders by local authors.

-- Posted by nikki at 6:50 am on June 16, 2009

    I would so buy that.
