-- Posted by bautrey37 at 9:45 pm on June 23, 2009 well i am having some problems putting videos onto to my video ipod classic.  i have put videos on it in the past, but for some reason these vids that i make wont go on it.  I am almost 100% sure that ipod takes .mp4 video files, which is m=what i put the video in.  But when i try and drag and drop it into the video folder, it doesn't work.  i think it gives me an error message but i'm sure.  what is another way to put video files into an ipod or another format i can use? From my understanding, if it plays on quicktime, it should work with iTunes. Also, try converting it into MPEG-4; http://www.mediaconverter.org/ (I highly suggested actually downloading it instead of doing it through the site- it's much faster and easier to do that way) -- Posted by anonomouse at 12:27 am on June 30, 2009 Use this converter (Videora). It works great, is free, and resolves the likely problem--a video file that is not compatible with your specific iPod.
