Why can you "not" join the Army? And it's always good to plan ahead.

My mother can only afford to send me to a community college. And I have A's and B's, so I could get into Harvard if I wanted to.

Community college is mostly free if you live in the town the college is in. You'd just have to pay for books and stuff, thats about it.

Lol just because you have A's and B's doesn't mean you'll get into Harvard.

I know that. You get rejected sometimes. I was generalizing that I could try getting into there if I wanted to. Sorry that I wasn't corrective on words.

It's never a bad idea to start thinking about where you want to go. I didn't start seriously considering schools until the beginning of my junior year when I met with a college counselor.

Thats a good idea.

How old are you? Well actually it's never to early to start looking at colleges. Do your research now so you can at least know what you want in a college. Small or large, in a small town or big city, etc.

I'm going to be a junior this fall and I just looked at 5 colleges, mainly because this was the only time I had to visit them due to sports. It's never too early. Start deciding what kind of college you want (small/large, big city/small town, ect) as pixie051308 said. This will help narrow down your search.

Do not go to community college. You should go to another state like NY to attend college. CUNY and SUNY schools are about $5,000-$6,000 a year. YAYYY! Some of those colleges are great: CUNY Baruch (I want to go there and I will trust me I will lol), CUNY Hunter, SUNY Stony Brook, SUNY Binghamton (public ivy league), SUNY Buffalo.

hmm. you can't work part time while your in college and then pay the debt you have after college. Pretty much if you go to a public college you will most likely be in debt by $15,000, if you go to a good public college you should be able to pay that off in a couple of years because of the salary you will be making.
