I know so many people who lost connection with pretty much everyone they knew after high school, and then just couldn't get back on the wagon, myself included.

My social life fell apart after i was denied access back to my public high school. So yes.

-- Posted by SweetxxCami at 8:00 pm on June 29, 2009
Yeah I know a lot of boys that I was intimidated by in highschool because they were hot older and like went out every weekend. Now I see them and theyre not doing that anymore. Like they all are junkie status because that's all they have to do. Kinda funny.

I graduated high school over a year ago. And yes, my social life has fallen apart a little bit. Mostly because I'm so busy with demanding classes and work now.
-- Posted by shoutingstar at 8:02 pm on June 29, 2009
Mine hasn't.
-- Posted by nousakan at 8:04 pm on June 29, 2009
Nope, I graduated high school in 2005, and i am now living with a friend from high school. I lost touch with 90% of my highschool but kept in touch with everyone in my clique.

Not really, considering that I didn't really have a large friend base throughout high school, just a couple really close ones. We still keep in contact. My boyfriend's relationship with his high school friends actually grew after high school. And then of course there are a couple of people I knew who basically fell off the face of the earth. I still kind of wonder what happened to them.

eh, i didnt have muxh of a social life in highschool, but right after highschool was when i was hanging out with ppl i seen around high school but we never talked, after highschool i finally had a social life for about 2 years. then it all fell apart, i stopped partying and my old friends became to addicting to drinking and smoking, plus they would always leave me out, they changed and so now i can say i dont have a social life. im hoping i can meet some new better friends, im still waiyting...

Why would one's social life fall apart suddenly with the change from primary school to university?
-- Posted by foody at 9:57 pm on July 5, 2009
Yep. And now that I'm home for the summer, I have no one to hang out with.
-- Posted by JennyColada at 12:43 pm on July 7, 2009
Yes. I got so lazy after high school in social terms. I pretty much just have one friend, and he's not even the best friend in the world. My main friend is really just whomever I'm dating at the time. I know that I could have a lot of friends, because I know quite a few people, I'm just too lazy to actually talk to or hang out with them enough to consider them "friends". High school was easy, since you were around these people constantly, and they were the same friends that I had for years. After we graduated we all went separate ways, and it's hard to keep friends that are hundreds of miles away.

Nope, didnt have one in high school, already have one in a few weeks at uni

ditto. I became more social during college and uni, but then again I've always just had a few very close friends as opposed to big groups of aquaintances, and I like it that way. I like mah personal space! A few of us keep in touch online and occasional meetups when we're around which is always fun.
