This is where your problem is. Racial tension does not come about when you're the sole or one of the very few people of a different race. That's of course a given. But when a minority group starts to gain in numbers, such happens. They begin to have an effect on the community. Apparently, you're the White kid. Because there weren't enough Whites among TOH's Negroes for them to say "Hey, we're Black. They're not.
