Why the hell do people do that? In my opinion, that's about the most disgusting thing you can lie about. It frustrates me so much I just want to rip all the hair out my skull.

It's one thing lying to your friends and family for whatever fucked up reason. But lying to your partner about it? Now that's just so amazingly low.

Sure, I'm not proud of my history, just like a lot of people aren't. But that's still no excuse and it's something I would never lie about. If it means that the person doesn't want to have sex with me because of it, then so be it - that's their decision. They have a right to know the truth.

Did someone lie to you?
If so, I'm sorry.

And I agree, completely.

It annoys me too. I hate lies anyway but sexual things... lying doesn't make you sound any better. And 9 times out of 10 you get found out. It's stupid.

Yes, a potential partner of mine did lie to me about it once. And they lied to me big time. I never had sex with that person (thank fucking God) but when they told me the truth after nearly a year, I was very hurt.

I'm sure. I would be as well.
Well, at least you found out before anything happened.
Just be more careful next time.
People can't be so easily trusted.

I do. Because it's disgusting thing to do, to tell someone you love them, and at the same time lie to them about that.

There's stuff I wouldn't want anybody to know, but I don't really have a "history" so I've got nothing to lie about. I wouldn't want to be lied to either.

There are two ways you can lie, 1. That you have more experience than you really have, or 2. You are lying that you haven't had the experience, and I am assuming in this case that you are female? And you don't want to seem like a whore? If a girl is sexually active and protects herself and is discreet there is no problem. I don't think anybody needs to know the number anyway, you can say yes I am experienced, or no never, all the rest is TMI.
