you probably pressing alt and tab by mistake.. that sign shows up when you do that make sure your pressing windows and tab

That's what I read. Apparently you have to have Premium, I only have Basic.

You're not running Aero. Aero isn't officially available in home basic. Here's how to enable it. It will also add a translucent taskbar, a redesigned start menu, a better Alt+Tab (in addition to the 3D thing), and a translucent glass theme for window title bars.
