I think the only reason I'm going to college is because that's what is expected. But I really have no desire to go. I feel like I'd be just as happy as a stay at home mother, or having some regular blue-collar job. i wanted to be an RN but now im having second thoughts. I'm thinking I'll go one semester, see what happens and then decide if I want to continue. I just know that my family would be disappointed in me if i decided not to continue. And I hate to let people down.

Personally, one of my dreams is to be a stay-at-home mom. And, while I'm at home, I can do my art in peace.

I know what you mean. I'm going to uni just because...I have nothing better to do.

While I have relatively little faith in the liberal arts departments at other schools, I would nevertheless assert that it is beneficial to gain at least some collegiate experience, and that there is no real need for your classes to be specialized immediately.
