Is it vBulletin, phpBB, or what?

-- Posted by blitzerdog at 4:25 pm on July 2, 2009

None.

It was custom built from the ground up.

I believe it's something original that Davjs coded himself together with the other first admin.

David created the site himself through Novel Hosting using his own coding and all the mumbo jumbo. (:

Edit:

Originally a customised version of IkonBoard a free Perl based forum system, LiveWire was a basic forum with few members, but it grew quickly within just one month Livewire had gained 249 members and was still growing, David and Reid worked flat out to update and keep the forum running, with their own skills and ideas LiveWire quickly developed and new features and forum layouts were fast to follow.

Edit:
Novel Hosting is his own company, says MMM.

I looked at that actually and found this:

Scripts:
phpBB Forum Software
Free Message Board
Java Chat Software
Imagemagick Installed
phpAuction
WebCalendar
phpBB
Guest Book
InvisionBoard
phpWebSite
phpAdsNew

So yeah, that's where I got the phpBB thing, aha. XD

well novel hosting is his own company lol

but is says on LW somewhere that it's a modified version of a popular forum software, however i've heard it being said that he's modified it so much you can barely see the resemblance to the original software.

LiveWire first used ikonboard but it has literally all been re-written now.

It's a bit out of date. But if you have read closer, if you can find another plan better than that, they will try and beat the prices.
