my boyfriend always tells me that im supposed to do everything he says because the man should be the boss in the relationship. the first time he said that i thought he was kidding. but since then, hes said it several more times and always looks serious. he says that when we live together, i should cook, clean, do his laundry, etc...because "girls are better for that stuff than boys." my friends say they wouldn't be able to put up with a guy like him because he seems too controlling. what do y'all think???

I'd say he's more than just a "bit" controlling.

LEAVE HIM NOW, there's nothing worse than a womanizer, a homophobe, a paedophile, a feminist... date someone neutral

punch him in the face...

Controlling? No. A jackass? Yes. If I were in your situation, I'd drop him and tell him "good luck finding a girl to obey your every command!" Nowadays, it's equal in relationships. Fuck, my mom works, and my dad stays home and keeps the house. There isn't a certain way things should be done, and your boyfriend shouldn't tell you how it's going to be, with no discussion. You're better off cutting it off. Listen to your friends, they know what they're talking about.

If he's like that now, when you're just dating, watch out
