I'm sick of all of the bullshit that Obama is passing through legislature. The cap and trade aka energy tax bill that has recently passed through the house and is waiting to be brought to the floor in the Senate. All this is is funding for his outrageous healthcare plan. He even said himself, and I quote, "energy will skyrocket under my cap and trade policy." It is supposed to tax carbon emissions and raise the cost of producing fuel domestically, which will lead to more imported oil and make us more dependant on foreign oil. Another thing, global warming is a lie. Temperatures have flatlined over the past 11 years. An EPA agent wrote a 300 page report about the fact that human caused global warming is a myth, that was thrown out and cost him his job because they don't want the public to know the truth. "Green energy" is not a plausible alternative to current energy sources, because there is no way to store the power generated by wind and solar energy, ad it costs $1.5 million to create one green energy, and it kills two jobs for every one it creates. Do you still support Obama? Did you hear they are trying to get rid of the 22nd amendment? It's the one that limits a president to two terms... Sorry for the blocks of text. Please discuss

People who used to hate Bush thought everything would smell like roses under Obama. Hope and change. Looks like they were wrong.

Global climate change isn't a lie it's just not caused or affected by humans. Instead of trying to fix it we should be preparing for a change in climate to minimize loss of life.

People act as if things would have been 100x better under McCain. They wouldnt be. We would have been fucked either way.

Yeah, that is my understanding of it. And they're not going to take away the 22nd amendment. I'd be interested to see what a mainstream media source would say about that (IE, not a blog. Maybe CNN or FOX). Calm down, Texas.

We wouldn't be in the mess if we hadn't deregulated the economy to the extent we did.

Your side should not have lost. You can only blame yourselves for alienating the voters.

And yet it does. Austrailian scientists have discovered we don't contribute to global warming. If we stopped all carbon emissions today, the temperatures 2/10000 of a degree in 100 years

yeah our economic problems - which started some 40 years ago by my count, though the current crisis started in 07 - are completely o-trains fault
-- Posted by what shall i do at 8:33 pm on July 2, 2009
all cap and trade will get us is a bunch of companies taking their work to other countries that dont have emission restrictions because it will be cheaper to have them do it then stay here. and if global warming is "global" then wouldnt you guys think that the globe should help in stopping it? no1 else is going to jump on our band wagon because they like having our business. and all health care will get us is taking rich peoples money and giving it to the poor so if youre poor then hooray

Your vote would have made no difference. What matters is what your party did to change the votes of millions of people from Republican to Democrat. Republicans had it all in 2004- they had the presidency and both houses of Congress- but your party's actions lost it all just four years later.
