Ok, Java stopped working yesterday, it was doing funny things and not behaving (version 13) so I deleted the files, and downloaded version 14. I have CCleaner, so I tried uninstalling Java 13 from there, but the file remained. I also have JavaRa, and tried deleting any old Java versions, but I don't know if it worked or not. I think the problem is that I can't get rid of Java 6 version 13 to put in the version 14. It just doesn't go away. I have Firefox by the way. And whenever I try installing version 14, it says the installation failed because the wizard was interrupted. WTF. Please, this is driving me crazy, and I really need Java right now. I have Vista by the way, if that helps. Thanks

Did you uninstall the program the correct way or did you just delete the files?

I'm afraid I did it the girl way and deleted the files. I'm not a computer person, so I don't know much, especially about Java, and I don't even know how to delete it properly.

You could try using an installer to repair it then uninstall it using programs and features add/remove programs.

Ok, but I don't know how. Maybe you could tell me a few installers or something? I really suck at this, and need a lot of help with this. Step by step instructions would be perfect.
