-- Posted by Hi Jack at 8:06 am on July 3, 2009 This week I've been at Warwick university on an engineering course, that's why I haven't been on. I made a load of new friends really quickly, and the group of 60 was really tight-knit by the end of the 3 1/2 days. it was really enjoyable, we had a load of sample lectures and presentations about applying to university, and an engineering project in which we had to work in teams to build planes that ran on a compressed air engine. This week has been some of the most fun I've ever had, just hanging around the university. We went for late night wanders around campus and by the end of it I'd completely fallen head over heels in love with the place, it's a great uni academically, but the area is so beautiful. Big, better-than-you, tryna-be-hard, cynical Jack actually cried when he left, because it was so amazing and I have to wait until next September to go there again. Everyone on the course got an automatic conditional offer of AAB for the Meng and BBB for the Beng. Meaning we don't have to go for an interview and making us the first people in our year to get university offers. This week has made me so happy It'll DEFINITELY be my first choice and I can't wait before I can leave this shithole and go there again.
