I'm spoiled by my parent's, I get pretty much whatever I want. My talent is shopping, and I do it all the time. I spend to much of their money on my clothes, so that I can always wear something new and make everyone wish they were me. For those of you who are jsut like me; the question is, do you ever feel bad? Like, do you ever get a pang of guilt after spending $300 on a few items? I do, but I just keep on spending (:

I feel privileged to not be like you. I feel guilty when I spend $50 on something that is useless or that I don't really need.

get a damn job then.. then you can't spend money on new stuff.. and a $300 on a few new things in the crisis we're in? slap yourself in the face and realise what you are doing! srsly.. your parents need to get a grip before you spend all of their money on things you don't need.. ie new clothes.. you must have a huge room full of them.. wear em >.<

I'm not spoilt in that I don't get given money by my parents, but I do spend quite a bit of my student loan and grant on clothes. I don't really feel guilty buying expensive stuff though.

I'm so happy I'm not like you. I guess most people understand more than that, the value of money. And more about life without it.

I grew up appreciating what I was given and learned to appreciate the value of money. I didn't need to make people jealous to fill a void in my life. Quite honestly I have never been jealous of people with money.

I have something to say to the OP personally, but first I'll answer your question. I wouldn't say I'm spoiled, but more like a lazy slacker that has nothing constructive to do. I have the option to get (material) things, but I try not to be a burden. I try to keep my budget less than 50 bucks every 2-4 months or so, or whatever would be enough for me and my best buddy to hold us over, like a game or some crap. For we are a simple minded bunch, and I am easy to please. So yeah, I feel like a burden whenever I cost too much for anything. I'm hoping on getting a job and being less of a lazy good-for-nothing. I'd trade this in for a normal life outside this neurotic cage any day, if I weren't so terrified of change. As for you (OP), I suggest you get a hobby or something important to live for. None of this will matter in a few years. Hell, it wont matter next month. At this rate I see you living for the present, finding another dude/tte living in the present, and you'll both lead empty lives only to look back and see nothing of real importance, and be forgotten in time as another face who just had a sense in fashion.
