Do you guys know of any that aren't complete shit? I would like to submit some of my poetry to some magazines but I admit, I do not read any of that stuff normally. I want to find one where disturbing subject matter is not considered inappropriate...

actually fuck it, if you know of any literary mags just post them here. i really just need a place to start lol

The Paris Review
Tin House
The Iowa Review
The Threepenny Review
Ploughshares

I know these five journals off the top of my head. I follow Threepenny occasionally and Tin House frequently. I own maybe a couple of Paris Review issues.

Threepenny seems to be a good bet for your work.
