Tragedies don't make me cry. Horrors don't scare me until I'm alone in the dark. And if we fell in love; I wouldn't laugh, I wouldn't cry, and I wouldn't realize how much I loved him until I was alone. Sounds to me like you just want someone to convince you you're wrong.
