Agh! Okay. Hai. Well i'm in quite the pickle here... Please help me. I will give you whatever few points I have. Here is my situation- I tried to get on IMVU and it wouldn't work, tried it a million times, blah blah blah, kept telling me I had no internet connection when I can access internet fine. Now I bought the Sims 3, and it is also telling me I have no internet connection. I don't even know what a Router is! D: Please help me i'd be so so grateful...

Okay, you know that little box, that your Eathernet Cable is plugged into? that's the router. On said router, there should be a little switch, Flip it, wait ten seconds, then flip it again. then try see if it works

I have a Qwest DSL modem. Is that what we are talking about?

Yes...kind of...modems and routers are different, but the modem should have a switch on it too. Try to use that.

if it doesnt have a switch, unplug it and plug it back in. works for me every time, you'll have to wait about 5 minutes though.
