America is hardly out of the commonwealth, only on paper. We are still the old lion and you're just a young headstrong rebellious lion. I mean you came and helped us in two world wars, fought with us in Korea and the Middle East. You are practically in the commonwealth, our little lion cub.

I somehow find it hard to believe that a lion cub can save a fully grown Lioness from utter defeat in WWI and WWII.

American involvement shortened the great war, but the allies would still have won. You'd find it hard to repute that. However ww2 would not have been won without american involvement, but neither would it have been won without british involvement

WWII wouldn't have been a WW without British involvement. Britain were about this close to being knocked silly off the European mainland, and the German Air Force had eventually taken control of London's skies from the RAF. And then America came in, and Germany lost because of the two front war. Also, World War I, America only joined the war after the sinking of the Lusitania. Before that, Britain was still being knocked about silly. Sorry, I thought you guys studied this history and stuff. If this is what you learned in the UK, you guys learn a very biased version of history being taught. Your Imperialist strength has long since waned. Like a century ago.

you need to review your history, perhaps less americanised version might show you something.

If you won't listen to sense, then maybe you'd care to explain why Britain always takes the American lead in current foreign policy, and why the list of Britain's allies are the same as America's allies? The list of enemies, the same as the American list? You can't say that BRITAIN controls world foreign policy. That right now belongs to America and China, more than any other countries.

Errors in your argument:
Britain were about this close to being knocked silly off the European mainland, and the German Air Force had eventually taken control of London's skies from the RAF.
1.) Britain had no land in mainland Europe to protect and no troops there either since the evacuation of dunkirk. 2.) The Germans had called off the invasion of Britain prior to American involvement due to them not being able to contriol the skies. THE BATTLE OF BRITAIN WAS OUR VICTORY SOLELY.
And then America came in, and Germany lost because of the two front war.
3. I presume you are referring to D Day as creating a war on 2 fronts. British, ANZAC and Canadian forces also fought then, not just America. So you didn't create a war on two fronts.
Also, World War I, America only joined the war after the sinking of the Lusitania. Before that, Britain was still being knocked about silly
4. British casualties were less than French and German by the time America joined.
Sorry, I thought you guys studied this history and stuff. If this is what you learned in the UK, you guys learn a very biased version of history being taught. Your Imperialist strength has long since waned. Like a century ago.
5. I have received an Irish education, which as you can imagine has a rather anti-British sentiment. Yet we are taught what happened in a neutral view.
