ours tries to climb our walls to get to the Indian decoration feathers my grand ma has up.It bites us and scratches us alot.

someone suggest spraying a little water on it when it does something wrong but that just made it avoid us

someone also suggested to acted like your about to hit it with a news paper and that should scare it enough where it wont do it again but that seems to just make it meaner

help?

The spraying with water works, but you have to do it IMMEDIATELY. Then afterwards go cuddle it and dry it off. Also, try distracting it with other non-feathery toys. Cats like feathers, fact of life.

We have a super-soaker. It only needs to be in the room, once the cats have had a good taste of it.

Yep.  You sorta have to accept that it will keep trying to grab them... it's just what cats do. It's like trying to stop the cat from sleeping. You may have to put the decorations away or move them if they're getting damaged, because the cat will just keep trying to get them.
