I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.

you think therefore you are?

That's a very very good point.  I never thought of it like that.

I have faith in Das Fueher

But some non-atheists do not dismiss the belief of all other gods.

Hmm who wrote that?

The only way to validate ones existence is by recognizing that, in questioning ones existence, he obviously exists. Therefore, since I think, I exist.

If you believe that any god does not exist then you understand the logic behind atheism on some level.

Just do what my mom does when an atheist makes sense.  Stick your fingers in your ears and go lalalalalalala.

I never quite got the whole cogito ergo sum thing, mainly because I was never sure what Descartes meant by existence

Yes, he doesnt go so far as to define what he thinks is existence. He just says what it is to exist. Wait...

existence=wondering whether you exist?

this seems a bit circular :/

Lol ya of course. His entire train of though is circular. " THe only certainty is uncertainty"...So...that certainty isnt certain? It's like saying, Rule #1, There are no rules. Wtf? I do not necessarily follow everything he says, his ideas are just very interesting and its fun to mind fuck people with them.

Btw I laughed rather hard at the video "He didnt live long enough to have his mind fucked by Nietzshe"
hahaha
