I'm having a boy.

We're thinking of naming him Bradley Killian.

Bradley is my husband's name, and we both really like Killian.

Decent name?

I figure with a middle name like Killian no one will fuck with him.  (My brother said he's either going to grow up and be a complete nerd or a serial killer.  haha)

It's okay...I guess
but I mean...It's your baby,we dont care.

I don't like when people name kids after the sperm donor or "father."

Bradley, yes.  Killian, no.

Yeah, but opinions are good for one reason.

I know I do it, and I don't want other people doing it.

"Oh my God.  Why the hell would she name her child that?!"

Same. Middle names are fine, but...Not first names.

Agreed

Ehh I voted indifferent, but I don't really like it.
It's up to you though.

I've also never been a fan of boys being named after their father (unless he's dead).

I can't decide whether you're being a dick and I should bitch you out, or whether you're just not fucking worth it.

Latter.

Seriously?  When did people become so against naming your child after the father?  I didn't realize it was so disliked.  lol

I didn't mean to offend you, tbh.
I have personal reasons for saying that.

Haha Idk. I've never liked it.

I'd give him an all together different first name, then have Bradley as the middle name.

I don't like it, sorry.

when i have kids one day im going to name my first boy benjamin. after my brother. cuz he died when he was a baby. i dnt think they are bad names. i just probly would use them. i think killian sounds kind of strange. but all the same its unique in its own way. hey who knows you might start a new name trend.

-- Posted by Chava at 9:00 pm on July 4, 2009

I named Enrique after his father but we gave him his middle name. I'm more for that because Oscar is named after his dad and it gets confusing at times. And I actually love the name Killian.Though I would worry about him being confussed with the beer.

-- Posted by carbonara at 1:29 am on July 6, 2009

I like Bradley.

-- Posted by nikki at 8:16 am on July 6, 2009

If you're gonna name him after his dad, put it as his middle name. But I like both names.

That's what we originally wanted to do, but Killian Bradley doesn't sound good together.

Maybe try and find another first name if you definitely want to name him after his dad?
