Although 3/24 months is RARE -- Posted by See Me Now at 6:08 pm on July 4, 2009 Don't be scared Chica :) It's awkward at first, but most doctors are really friendly and my second doctor was really able to put me at ease first, and it really wasn't bad. My very first visit though, the doc hardly talked to me before, so I barely knew what she was going to do before she did it. It hurt like hell, was extremely uncomfortable, and just a really bad experience. My second trip only hurt for maybe a minute, and then it was over. It's truly not that bad. You'll be fine.
