I need to break the news to my parents, so how do I get their approval? my dad is really really protective of me. is 16 too young. I mean people can drive at 16, so why can't I start dating? I think 16 is definetly old enough. I'm emotionally and intellectually mature for my age and very responsible. I just don't understand. We talked about it and both of us agreed that we wanted to have sex with each other. So after that we didn't really date but we had a lot of sex every time we had the opportunity..
