Can you describe the appearance of a cubic graph

our teacher's making us do it for hwk.

eg, for a quadratci you could say it was a parabola/U shaped...

How to describe it?  Interesting..

I don't know, I would say it's like a parabola with the second quadrant reflected about the x-axis...

But I mean, that's just a basic cubic... A cubic for something like y = x(x-1)(x+1) would look different... more wavy...
