So the last time I had a job interview it was a case of Boss: can you works a dishwasher? Me: yes Boss: well the job's yours So now I have a job interview for waterstones the book shop. I really don't have a clue the kind of things they will ask me, what sort of clothes I should wear or even how much (if any) makeup I should put on. Please someone give me some advice id really appreciate it. I'm dreading this so much but I really want the job. Help!

Dress smart, natural makeup. I'm not sure what they'd ask in a book store :\ Maybe just if you've got customer experience and stuff.

Just think logically and be prepared for anything. They will most likely ask you some background questions, some work experience, and some skill questions. As well as interest, and why you would make a good employee for the job. Dress appropriate meaning business attire. If you feel you need some make up, then wear some. Just don't go heavily. (:

Only put a little bit of makeup on, not so much that they can tell you're wearing it but enough so they know you take care in your appearance. I doubt it'll be an interrogating, they're probably just trying to gauge what type of person you are. Smile a lot, but be yourself. There's no use acing the interview then getting fired a week later coz you're a completely different person. Comfortable respectable clothes would be the best, IMO. Good luck!!
