With the pain associated with sports? I'm not talking about injury pain, but like exhaustion, aching muscles, pushing yourself when your mind is telling you it just can't go anymore. I'm a rower and a lot of times the thought of being exhausted and having my muscles burn keeps me from performing my best and I'd like to overcome this. Any ideas/advice?

In college they tell us to get plenty of sleep. It's the number one way to help.

Once you do it enough your body should get used to it and it wont be as bad.

I just ignore it. You must become comfortable with being uncomfortable. That's how you grow. Its 100% mental.

Hot baths, stretching and moderate exercise. But the best of all...massages. Honestly, they get rid of all the toxins that are being released, and soothes muscles like nothing else. Your body is adjusting to the exercise, hang in there and you'll push through.

Ahh yeah I really want to go and get a massage, but I haven't gotten around to making an appointment.
