Its there own dame fault. Who helps you if you get mugged? the police. Who helps you when your house gets robbed? The police. So stop calling cops pigs! one day something is going to happen to you and you will see that not all cops are dicks.

However, many of them are assholes. I have been pulled over for so much bullshit. Failure to signal when I change lanes (oh, and I did), going 4mph over. Oh wait, I was actually going 1mph UNDER, but the cop didnt know the speed limit in that area. Not to mention how many times I have seen them taze and/or beat highschool students, long after they were subdued. As for the cops helping? I wish. I was mugged. I had my jaw fractured. Even after identifying the muggers, nothing was ever done. Nothing.

This then leads to cocky attitudes and that "I'm better than you so do what i say or get cuffs slapped on your wrists." feel

But in the actual ticket, he reduced it down to only +5 mph and said I'd be getting the ticked in about 3 weeks. Except it turned out that I actually never got the ticket at all so I'm guessing he let me off with a warning.

I'm not saying cops are wonderful, some are dicks most are not. I'm just saying you have no idea what they go through every day, you try running through the woods trying to catch someone who decided to run when they didn't need to, you would be pissed and vent anger to. some vent to others by being a dick, some drink it away, some hit the person causing the anger.
