I was wondering if you go to a baking and pastry university do they teach you how to make topsy turvy cakes and whimsical cakes?

They teach you how to bake a cake, the crazy decorating like that you learn on the job or self teach.

you learn to work with those ingredients, like fondant and such, and how to shape things, but unless you've got a very whimsical teacher, most of those classes are pretty tame. simply because most places don't make those types of cakes.

Hmmm, and pastry/baking school and courses are rough.

I'm in a culinary school but ugh i hate baking so much.
