Unless they have a picture signed by the criminal at the crime seen more than likely nothing will happen. This stuff happens to often for them to look for people. You get mugged? Good luck buddy. Unless you got the signed picture nothings gonna happen. They'll take a report yeah... other than that you're fucked.
