Her brother received half while she also gets half. Earlier this week, she received the very last payment she's going to get. She doesn't have any backup money for when this last amount is completely gone.   She can't work cause no one will hire her. She's been all over town, and not one employment agency has agreed to hire her.   I believe these are some of the key reasons why they won't hire her: She's mentally retarded. She's unsanitary - she doesn't brush her teeth ever. She has a spinal injury from her 3rd marriage. Social security has also denied her. What should she do? Right now, I'm personally not affected by it all, but she's probably going to have to come live with us soon. Though I know you're supposed to honor your mother and appreciate her, I didn't like her so much the last time she ran out of money and had to come live with us. (This was before her dad died) She's a complete embarrassment and an annoyance. Supportive replies only, please. I don't know. She has a little income coming from her old house which she sold. But it's not much cause the people she sold it to are very late on the payments. The state saw this little income, and denied her of any help.
