Since I was a child, my parents have made tons of negative comments pertaining to race, especially when it comes to blacks and whites, both of which are what I am. They'll say things like "Don't go to bad neighborhoods because black men on bikes will rob you" or "Yeah, it was a bunch of weird ass white people" both of which they refer to as "your people", your as in me. -- Posted by airemaye at 4:03 pm on July 9, 2009 I think it's impossible to be truly unbiased about anything. But I think it's possible to set aside your biases and be a generally open-minded person.
