I remember the D.A.RE. program at my elementary school.The officer made me kinda scared of trying drugs.I promised myself i'd never drink or smoke..but i've done both. Some of my friends didn't pay attention or care about the program, but others promised they would never do drugs. The thing is, those kids who used to be in my class, well several of them have tried smoking and all that, from what i hear. Ive never promised. -- Posted by live it up at 8:31 pm on July 8, 2009 when i was young i never thought drugs would be of interest to me, i always just thought they were i dunno a waste. never really looked down on them all that much, people ALWAYS told me they were bad, so i believed them. my friends smoked weed when i was like 15 and i just got curious from there asking all kinds of questions. i never gave into peer pressure, i made the conscious decision to try each substance i have taken. a lot of that peer pressure shit is made up, very rarely is there any serious peer pressure in the drug world. you wanna be my friend than be my friend just cause you take a hit, that doesn't make you any cooler. -- Posted by grinzbie at 8:34 pm on July 8, 2009 I promied myself that I wouldnt do drugs or smoke but I realized that even after doing the program I was still very uneducated about drugs...
