"I do not want to be the leader. I refuse to be the leader. I want to live darkly and richly in my femaleness. I want a man lying over me, always over me. His will, his pleasure, his desire, his life, his work, his sexuality the touchstone, the command, my pivot. I don't mind working, holding my ground intellectually, artistically; but as a woman, oh, God, as a woman I want to be dominated.
I don't mind being told to stand on my own feet, not to cling, be all that I am capable of doing, but I am going to be pursued, fucked, possessed by the will of a male at his time, his bidding."

-Anais Nin

I'm supposed to write an essay about it over the summer. I think I'll have plenty to write about..mainly because I love the quote.

Thoughts?

I think it's much too literary for this site.

This site seems to be about somebody making the most outrageous post they can and other people making snarky comments about it.

I love this quote too. It sounds like it won't be too hard to write an essay about either.

Yeah, this site is retarded.

I like the quote though. It's very interesting, and sexy. Oddly natural you know. Oddly because I know so many girls who would like to put up this feminist kind of front that they aren't female, or that they aren't the sex that is sort of hinged sexually around being "dominated".

I like it really, it's beautiful.
