We were discussing how you can't control who you're attracted to in some cases and she said that's not possible, you simply chose who you fancy and you can suddenly decide you just don't like them anymore and that's that. I disagreed with her stating that in some cases you may have fallen for someone that you really wish you hadn't fallen for and no matter how hard you try you can't get rid of those feelings instantly. Has anyone got anything i can say to her for tomorrows lesson? she was really pissing me off :L so i need to go prepared.

I agree with you. You don't choose who you fall in love with. If I could, I'd have stayed with my ex bf. You get attracted to whoever is compatible with your personality. It's subconscious..

love is essentially a chemical reaction in the body...out of our control...yes, we can choose who we go out with...and choose when not to go out with them...but really, we can't control the chemicals that are released when we fall for someone. so...we don't decide...our body does
