(450x.0825)+450 And the percentage symbol isn't a dollar sign, it goes after the numbers.

calculator: get 10% then half it then half it again so you have 2.5% then add 5% + 2.5% then add 4.50 which is the 1% to get 8.25% add all the numbers together, wala answer pro maths.
