Is what people call you when you state facts about life as you see it. "You're so negative!" No, I'm a realist. I prefer to recognize what and how things are instead of deluding myself and drowning in the happy, sunny, and very fake "positivism". Anger can be a powerful force of change if one feels angry about the right things and feels they need to be changed. You can be very determned without being an optimist.

And you don't like Rand... But yeah, I agree with you on this one. Might as well tell it how it is instead of pretending everything is okay even if it isn't.

I think there's a huge difference between being a realist and being negative. Being a realist means that sometimes you come to poisitive conclusions.
