I'm 16 and they have been together for 13 years so far and haven't lived together or anything because they don't believe in that until marriage. Even though I'm young, I'm not stupid. I knew there was something going on if it took him this long to propose. I knew this would happen. He called her like 15 mins before he was supposed to show up last night and said "I just cant do it" and hung up. She called him back and cussed him out. I've never cussed in front of my mom but I just went off. Out of instinct, I want to go kick his ass but I'm just a girl what the hell could i do? I've been listening to her crying ever since. My mom's like "I guess I'll just be alone for the rest of my life." She's not young, she's up there, honestly I doubt she will ever meet anyone else, but I hope she does. I can't believe he would do this to me and my mom. He practically was my dad so he's walking out on both of us. She wants me to go get our garage door opener and house key from him tomorrow.
