Do any of you ever get really, really warm? I always do, and if I can manage to cool myself down (cold shower, cold water, cold washrag) I can usually avoid getting sick all together. Is there any evidence to suggest that cooling oneself down can stop vomiting or at least ease nausea?

When I'm about to vomit, my saliva increases by a huge amount to the point where I'm almost drooling..

Yeah, that happens to me, too. I usually end up drooling everywhere.

I just about to say that. I usually know when it's likely to come so I stay next to a bucket/toilet etc..and then it just starts dripping out of my mouth right before I'm sick. God, I feel nauseous with all these threads.

The best thing to do when you feel sick is cool yourself down.

I was just curious, seeing as I have food poisoning AGAIN. Third time in 2 months.

I don't really take notice of my temp when I feel sick...but I guess you stop thinking about how warm/cold you are so...er,, I dunno where I was going with that one.
