I have a friend who is nice and fun. We go to college together and she's President of a school club. Some things about her make me wonder though. She's always telling me that she has this rich aunt in Europe who left her this huge estate in her will. She tells me some people in her family have millions of dollars. She's a bit chubby and not exactly gorgeous (she's more cute) and always says guys are "so intimidated by me cause I'm friends with my professors and President of the club." I've seen her house and she's VERY average. She even applies for financial aid in school. Could she be lying?

It seems like she's always trying to make herself seem really impressive and I don't know why. I mean, why say you have relatives who are millionaires?

Is her aunt dead?

I didn't mean it like that. I mean that she isn't exactly gorgeous but says guys are intimidated by her. In my experience, guys aren't intimidated by girls unless they're gorgeous, regardless of how smart they are. I could be wrong on that point though.

You never know. My aunt left me one of her houses in her will, and she's a millionaire. You'd never guess it judging by my parents and my financial situation o.O
