And they'd make more than you in their lives... I'd rather retire at 65 and get a decent pension than have to work until I die thanks...

If you don't go to college, you won't have as many opportunities for job positions once the economy gets better.

I am pretty sure it was on the Discovery channel, where I was reading about how in the future, people will not always need to go to Post-Secondary in order to get a fanstastic paying job. You just need to go to plays like ITT Tech or something like it, get yourself qualified, and then just find a job. It happens more in the trades nowadays, but not as much for being something like a historian.

My grandma and uncle were talking about this, you could do job corp and all that if you don't go to college.

Yeah... but only around that age. But the main thing is this... do you really see yourself being a mailman for the rest of your life? Or otherwise working any job that you can get for the rest of you time? That's ultimately your choice... but if you can see yourself being a mailman for the rest of your life, then maybe that's your calling.
