what's an alternative for lube for inserting a tampon in? it hurts like hell when i try and im going swimming later. any tips?

Try using a smaller tampon. It shouldn't hurt to insert it.

You're not supposed to lube your tampons. If you can't get it in, then you're using the wrong size (too big). Get yourself a smaller tampon.
