I cut myself and I think its infected im not sure, it hurts pretty bad and looks a bit yellow and purple and is red all around and my arm hurts idk what to do about it. A doctor is not an option. 15 bucks is too much for this petty crap. Home remedy plz.

clean it with warmish water, try and get all the puss and shit off (peeling) then put a bandage over it and some alcohol wipes or something.

Alright get a wash cloth, cover it in hot water, and microwave it until quite hot. Put it on the cut as soon as you can, as hot as you can stand. Then if you arm is really wet, dry around it. Get hydrogen peroxide and apply it to the cut. :D Edit: Do this 1-2 times a day, every day until handled. May also help if you have a bandage to put on it when done.

It does sound like you've got an infection going on. Doesn't sound too serious... the purple is probably just bruising from the cut itself. Wash it with warm water and soap, a few times a day. Definitely make sure to scrape it out so that dirt doesn't collect in it. It should be fine. I wouldn't put a bandage on it, because it needs oxygen to heal.
