I'm really new to the music world, and have never actively listened to music before. Only in stores and such. Personally, from what I've gaged, I like electronica/dance music (think lady gaga) and the complete opposite, meaningful songs, which are soft and such. I don't really know the genre name for it. I hate hard rock. If your listening on youtube, a lot of people leave top 10 artists comments on some videos, you can go to those artists and have a listen.
