As part of the improved Friends list you can now track your friends birthdays. I'm going to be using this feature A LOT as I absolutely can't remember dates like holidays, months of the year, or people's birthdays. Heck, I'm going to add my Mom and Dad's birthdays too.

One week before your friend's birthday you will see an alert (non-flashing) in your sidebar under Calendar. You can also click on "Upcoming Birthdays" in Friends if you have mutual friends.

This feature works automatically. You don't have to enter your friend's birthday, but they need to be your mutual friend.

The feature doesn't give away how old you are, only the month and day you were born and only to your mutual friends.

I'm going to use the "Add Real Life Friend" feature to get all of my Real Life Friends to sign up for LiveWire and enter their dates of birth, because they will automatically be added to my mutual friends list. It's really slick.

No upcomming birthdays in my friend list. Darn.

If we add 'outsiders', does it email them? Cuz maybe I want to add my sister and all her info. But I don't want to have LW emailing her.

Yes, we do email her with a simple invite link that connects her to your friends list.

Hehe sounds like my boyfriend.

I told him I would go easy on him and make it so we get married on our first date anniversary. So it doesn't change.

Great feature David!  You always of fabulous ideas (except of course when there are small issues but those usually get changed and the idea becomes wonderful)

Hehehehee... I can't help but smile at how happy you must be at the idea of making more ppl sign up for LiveWire.
