Does anyone know, really, what that means? If you know what a Cartesian coordinate plane is then you'll know that it has for quadrants. The upper right which is (+,+), the bottom right which is (+,-), the upper left which is (-,+), and the bottom left which is (-,-).  Yours was -2.75 and 1.85 so your quadrant would be (-,+) which would be the upper left.
