JOHN F. KENNEDY APRIL 27, 1961 SPEECH:
Today no war has been declared and however fierce the struggle may be, it may never be declared in the traditional fashion. Our way of life is under attack. Those who make themselves our enemy are advancing around the globe. The survival of our friends is in danger. And yet no war has been declared, no borders have been crossed by marching troops, no missiles have been fired. If the press is awaiting a declaration of war before it imposes the self-discipline of combat conditions, then I can only say that no war ever posed a greater threat to our security. If you are awaiting a finding of "clear and present danger," then I can only say that the danger has never been more clear and its presence has never been more imminent. For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations.

Kennedy later claimed that 75% of the attacks made on him during his Ambassadorship emanated from "a number of Jewish publishers and writers. ... Some of them in their zeal did not hesitate to resort to slander and falsehood to achieve their aims." He told his eldest son, Joe Jr., that he disliked having to put up with "Jewish columnists" who criticized him with no good reason.
Another interesting article, titled "John F. Kennedy Opposed Israel's Power": http://tinyurl.com/87u2qc9 Perhaps he learned a thing or two from his father? Who knows, maybe his opposition to Israel was based on obvious rationality and common sense, which our current candidates completely lack. Another quote by JFK: "Hitler will emerge from the hatred that surrounds him now as one of the most significant figures who ever lived" Do you think JFK was right about what he said in the first quote? If so, what secret group do you think he was he talking about? If he's talking about elite Jews, he'd probably end up agreeing with another former US president, Nixon, who is also one of the few presidents that failed to complete a full term.

Interestingly, JFK's alleged murderer, Lee Harvey Oswald, was conveniently killed by the Jew Jack Ruby.

JFK didn't say anything about Jews, but it does seem strikingly similar to the so-called Jewish "conspiracy theories." Furthermore given other facts (his father's opposition to Jews, his opposition to Israel...) it might suggest he was talking about Jews. It certainly fits. However there are other conspiracy theories and I'm just wondering what you guys think JFK was talking about. He was our president and he clearly intended us to learn something from his quote. What do you think that was?

Why does it matter? According to JFK, "Our way of life is under attack... no war ever posed a greater threat to our security..." I'm trying to understand what message our president was trying to tell us. A president that got shot nonetheless, in which we have no 100% proven explanation of who it was anyway. Do you not think it's important at all?

Who do you think most communists in America were? Who do you think was behind the Bolshevik revolution? Do you think we've been infected with communist ideology in the USA or not?

Oh wow, baseless allegations of cherry-picking. Nice job not contributing at all to the thread.

Tell that to the 10s of millions of Europeans that died under the USSR.
