I'm making this suggestion based on Praise the Lard's thread. This is actually something I have seen work out quite well on other forums. Basically, anything overly controversial or something that could be interpreted by most people (especially new members) as racist, offensive, or extremely pedantic (regardless of who is right or wrong) goes here. This would give the website a better image and promote freedom of expression without shitting the same stuff all over the place. This applies to me as well; I hold several beliefs people would consider controversial...but if I angrily posted everywhere about them I would just look like a nutjob and make LW look bad. Therefore, having a forum for this and making sure things like this stay in there would be much much more tactful. Its a bit redundant in technicality with a few forums, but in function it would be nice. I don't know if the race forum would have to be cut. Threads that get out of hand in R&P and Politics could be moved here. And since I've seen it work out just fine on other forums, I don't see why it'd be a problem here. I have no problem with controversial opinions, they should just not be shitted everywhere. Basically, anything like Nacon's conspiracy news stories, Kidd Rune's jew rants, FA's rants, etc. Just to give a few examples, I'm sure there are others. So what do you say, LW? Also there should probably still be a few basic rules in place to prevent people from hurting each other.
