We had something called "The Great Pickle Experiment"... We spliced a lamp wire and then stuck both ends into a dill pickle.  We turned the lights out, plugged the lamp wire in and watched the pickle snap, crackle, pop and then.... glow bright green... hahaha... So, I guess I constitute as those stupid people living in your building but it really was a lot of fun and we videotaped it...  The smell afterward was gross tho :( Don't try this at home unless you can find a safe explanation on the internet please!! haha -- Posted by stene at 5:08 pm on Feb. 25, 2006 My roommate set off our alarm by using a burner, then immediately spraying cleaner on it without turing the gas below it off first.  After I spent the next day being pissed off that our entire apt smelled like burnt chemicals I finally laughed at her stupidity. But she did burn herself a little so I didn't laugh in front of her.
